I don't remember if it was Lyons or Keifer, but he used to carry a small, thick rubber hose in the car which he threatened to beat you on the legs with if you messed up, but I never saw him use it. Looking over the pictures in the photo gallery, I never realized there was so much going on at MHS when I was there. Looking at one of the first pictures in the photo gallery brought back some memories. I remember all the open fields around MHS, but the last time I was in Tempe, probably 10 or 15 years ago, I drove by MHS and couldn't believe how that whole area had built up! I didn't even recognize the high school. </i> *
